American Legion Picnic

| | Comments (0)

Hello Pack 196!

We hope everyone is enjoying these last few weeks of school. We want to remind you the American Legion Beach Cleanup and Picnic will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 am.

The boys will help clean up the beach area near the American Legion, and then the American Legion will cook hotdogs and hamburgers for us. Families are invited. The Legion is providing the hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks. We will need to bring a few sides and dessert.

This project counts as a conservation project, so anyone working on the Global Conservation patch or for any Webelos next year, this counts! The boys should bring gloves to pick up the trash with. We will supply garbage bags. The boys should wear Class B T-shirts.

We are welcome to stay as long as we want at the beach after the picnic. Don't forget your beach chairs and blankets!

Please let us know if you will be able to join us so we can give a count to the American Legion. We hope to see you there.

Best regards,
Bob and Lisa
